“Understanding Dementia for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Community Groups” Training Video and presentation slides

This Powerpoint presentation is in English and designed to be delivered by community group workers with no previous knowledge of dementia. The aim of the presentation is to raise community awareness about dementia in BAME communities. Before delivering the presentation the community worker should view the accompanying explanatory video. The webinar lasts approximately one hour and presentation of the slides to a community group with a question and answer session should last around one and a half hours. The video is a training tool to support the community worker with confidently presenting the presentation slides but can be used as direct education video with community groups who are comfortable with English language presentations.
