Winter Campaign Project (2025)
This winter, the NHS in NW London is looking to support local residents with decisions about their health and the services they use, by providing information and redirecting people at the point of need.
They are focussing on these key areas:
- Vaccinations (flu and Covid vaccinations).
- Children’s flu vaccination (nasal spray) – all children aged 2-3 and reception – year 11, and children from 6 months with underlying health conditions.
We are working in partnership with the following organisations to deliver the Winter Campaign project:
- Abdul Mageed Educational Trust
AMET is a registered charity and based in Westminster. They are offering a multitude of services, tailored specifically to the needs of their communities. They are working with Black African, Arabic speaking and Asian. They will be working on flu vaccines, covid boosters and childhood immunisations.
- Middle Eastern Women’s Society organisation
A women's registered charity based in Westminster, run by and for women from ethnic minority communities. The majority of the communities they serve are from Middle Eastern, North African, and Asian backgrounds. They will be working on flu vaccines, covid boosters and childhood immunisations.
Hope for the Future is a registered charity, based in Westminster and aims for the advancement of education and tackling the causes of poverty affecting ethnic minority communities in the UK, specifically women and young people. They will be working on flu vaccines, covid boosters and childhood immunisations.
- Sudanese Community and Information Centre (SCIC)
A registered charity and based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. They are working with Black African communities including asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. They will be working on flu vaccines, covid boosters and childhood immunisations.
- Fifty Plus Aged Eritrean Welfare Association
A registered charity and based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. They provide advice, information and support for older people and disabled people from the Eritrean community including refugees and asylum seekers. They will be working on flu vaccines and covid boosters.
A registered charity, based in Hammersmith and Fulham and working mainly with people who speak Farsi and other black ethnic minorities living in Hammersmith and Fulham and NWL boroughs.They will be working on flu vaccines and covid boosters
This project is funded by NHS North West London/ North West London ICS and will be delivered between 1st October 2025 to 25th December 2025.
