The ‘Say No to Abuse’ eBook has now been translated into seven community languages: Kurdish Sorani, Farsi, Somali, Tigrigna, French, Arabic and Bengali.

This work enables the breaking down of language barriers and making safeguarding guidance more widely available. The translations are the result of a truly collaborative effort across the BME Safeguarding Network, reflecting the hard work and shared vision of our partners and community members.

The eBooks provide practical advice and clear guidance to help individuals, families, and organisations understand the signs of abuse and know where to turn for support. They are a valuable tool for empowering communities, raising awareness and building stronger safeguarding practices.

These ebook translations were produced in collaboration with the following organisations:

  • Iranian Association
  • French African Welfare Association
  • Education & Skills Development Group (ESDEG)
  • Central London Youth Development Trust (CLYD)
  • Abdul Mageed Education Trust
